For the past number of years we have been working closely with Celtic to establish a number of club partnerships all over the country. The basic principles on which the club partnerships are based are as follows.
- Developing Players
- Developing Clubs
- Developing Coaches
- Giving people exposure to Celtic
At present Celtic is in partnership with 25 clubs across Ireland, a figure which they hope to increase by the end of the year. Celtic realise there is a great love for the club in Ireland and they want to work with these people who are also involved at underage football.
As an Association have been working on over the past few years in trying to establish better links with the club here in Ireland, while also putting a structure in place where talented young players may also get the opportunity to be assessed by Celtic scouts / coaches.
